1 month to Band Day Weekend!
We are 1 month away from the beginning of Band Day Weekend! We want to take a moment and highlight the events leading up to and during this year’s Band Day Weekend.
But first, a quick reminder that Band Day registration is open!

Remember: Band Day Registration is separate from your LHAB Membership Dues. Paying your membership dues does NOT register you for Band Day. If you have not yet paid your dues for 2025-2026, you will be prompted to complete that step prior to registering for Band Day.
Our annual business meeting will be held via YouTube live-stream on Sunday, 9/7, at 6pm. You can access LHAB’s YouTube page here: https://www.youtube.com/@lhab-utaustin. The direct streaming link will be made available via Blast and social media prior to the meeting.
Join us as we share our accomplishments over the past year and look forward to another successful year supporting Longhorn Band! 🤘
A statue of Vincent R. DiNino, legendary director emeritus, will be unveiled at the Alumni Center on Friday, 9/12, from 2:30pm – 4:30pm. More details to come, but please plan on joining us in this celebration to kick off Band Day Weekend!
We’re thrilled to be bringing back the Friday Night Tailgate for the second year running. This year, we’ve established a Friday Night Tailgate Committee to help make this new tradition even better year after year. We have some exciting updates that will be announced soon, so keep your eyes out for more!
Not able to make it to Band Day, but still want to attend the Friday Night Tailgate? Log in to the registration page using the link at the beginning of this email, select the option to not march, and RSVP for you + guests for the FNT. You will not be charged for Band Day fees if you are attending FNT only.

We are finalizing the Saturday schedule with LHB and UT Athletics. Once available, the updated schedule will be posted to the Band Day Info page (link below). You can also visit the Info page NOW to review other important topics such as uniform requirements, music, parking, and more!
Join us for our annual TBS Beta Gamma Alumni Brunch, which will take place the Sunday of Band Day Weekend! Along with the food, there will be opportunities to meet the current TBS actives and alumni, browse through memorabilia, and participate in a surprise raffle.
The event will cost $15 for alumni and $10 for each additional plus one. Please RSVP with the link provided. We can’t wait to see you there! 😊💙
