The Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Rio Grande Valley Area Chapters of the Longhorn Alumni Band perform, by invitation, at a variety of functions in return for a tax-deductible donation to the Longhorn Alumni Band Charitable Fund — which provides over $200,000 in scholarships to deserving Longhorn Band members each year.
