We are thrilled to announce that we will have 1,000 LHB & LHAB members on the field next weekend during our combined set! This will be a HUGE show of support and celebration as we all come together to celebrate LHB’s 125th season!!

If you are still searching for a game day parking solution, keep your eyes peeled on your inbox and our social media pages! We are finalizing details for a new option and will be ready to share more information soon.

Virtual Annual Business Meeting – Sunday, Sept. 15th, 6-7:30pm CDT

As previously announced, the LHAB Annual Business Meeting will be live streamed so that all members can attend even if they do not plan to attend Alumni Band Day. The meeting will be on Sunday, September 15th, from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. CDT.

We hope you will join us to get updates on all our accomplishments over the past year, hear from special guests, and get a peek at what’s in store for the year ahead!

Band Day Program Now Available

The 2024 Band Day Program is now available for viewing on our website at the link below. We hope you take some time to read about all that LHAB has accomplished in the past year and learn about (or refresh your memory on!) some significant LHB and LHAB traditions. The program contains updates from:

  • The LHAB President, Shirley Cumby
  • The LHAB Board of Directors
  • The LHAB Charitable Fund Board of Trustees

Included at the beginning of the program is the Annual Business Meeting agenda for Sunday, Sept. 15th.

Band Day Program

Urgent Need for Volunteers

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to volunteer so far – your commitment and service to our organization will help us make this year’s Band Day the best ever!! There are still some URGENT areas where we need volunteers to help the weekend run smoothly:

  • Equipment/Transport: Post-game instrument check-in – 7 volunteers needed
  • Uniforms: Pre-game vest checkout – 4 volunteers needed
  • Friday Night Tailgate: Assist sponsors/vendors with keeping the serving area stocked and clean – 6 volunteers needed
  • Saturday Meal: Manage meal lines, clean-up – 11 volunteers needed

Late Registration

It’s not too late to join us on Band Day! Late registration is allowed up until Friday evening, 9/20/2024.

Those members registering after the 9/10/2024 deadline will not receive membership perks on Band Day and will not have a marching spot in the show. For those who participate in late registration and for those who prefer not to march but would like to play during halftime (as indicated during registration), we will have a playing block on the field much like we did last year.

Those marching will appreciate the boost of sound from the playing block!!
