Band Day 2025: September 12th – 13th

Band Day 2025 has been set for Saturday, September 13th as our Texas Longhorns take on the UTEP Miners! Get to making your travel plans and getting in touch with your fellow alumni to join you at this year’s Band Day! 
We are bringing back the Friday Night Tailgate for its second year on Friday, September 12th and are also excited to announce that the new Vincent R. DiNino statue will be unveiled that Friday afternoon at the Alumni Center.
Plenty of more details to come, but it will be a weekend you won’t want to miss!! |

| UT will hold their annual 40 Hours for the Forty Acres fundraiser on May 7th – 8th. If you are planning to donate to our “$125 for the 125th” LHB Anniversary campaign, or donate any amount to LHB as part of your giving plan, consider doing it before May 5th so that we have time to plan our strategy to utilize various matching funds available during 40 for Forty.
We have been very fortunate in the past with split-second timing and some early hours to receive matching funds and with your help, we aim to do the same this year to maximize our impact for LHB students!!

Block T and Script Texas Donor Walls: Don’t Miss Out!

|
| Work on the two new donor walls coming to the Music Building is well underway! Don’t miss out on your opportunity to have your support for LHB forever memorialized on the walls surrounding the LHB offices and Band Hall.
Block T Donor Wall
Help grow the Longhorn Band Legacy Fund by purchasing a personalized tile in your name or the name of a loved one, that will help make up the iconic Block T shape. There are 4 tile sizes, each with a different donation amount, and there are a limited number of tiles available, so don’t delay! When all tiles are purchased, donors will have given more than $1.5 million in support of the LHB Legacy Fund. |

| Script Texas Society
The Script Texas Society is specific to supporters of LHB and will recognize anyone who makes a revocable, non-binding gift through their estate, beneficiary designation, or other planned gift, but only those donors whose gifts are $100,000 or more will have their name permanently inscribed on the donor wall. You can take action today to help support the LHB of the future – find out more at the button below. |
